Someone was under a deadline. Someone cheated on friction. Someone doesn’t like complementarity conditions. Don’t let this happen to you! I’m out to fix that. I work to build better approximations of physical reality through computer simulation.

I’m Dan, and I research multibody system dynamics. This includes contact dynamics, simulation and modeling, constraint generation, nonsmooth mechanics, and robotics and controls.
