Streusel filled coffee cake
This is German recipe from Daniel’s grandmother Flickinger (might have been handed down from her mother)
Ingredients:
Streudal filling:
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 2 Tbsp flour
- 2 Tbsp melted butter
- 1/2 cup nuts if desired
Directions:
- Mix dry ingredients. Cut in butter. Blend in well beaten egg mixed with milk. Pour half batter into well greased pan – 6 X 10. Sprinkle pan with flour
Streudal
- Sprinkle half of struedal on batter. Pour remaining batter in pan. Sprinkle remaining struedal on top
